I have only heard a couple of songs, but Mark sounds like he's been touring for months with that low voice. And what about those strange guitar chords in Border Reiver, they must be played by a non-guitar-player. Hmm.

And Coyote sounds less groovy than on the record. All those people on stage and yet such a thin sound. It could be the recording to some extent, but where is the piano and the twangy guitar during the verses? I'm a bit sceptical but I have a long way to go. Mark's guitar licks sound fresh though.

Tallgren - I agree with both yourself and LE, it seems to lack something - a bit of oomph!   I was particularly disappointed with Marbletown, it is nowhere as powerful as the 2008 version and altogether the whole sound lacks body.  I don't really think it is because John isn't there, because he was absent at Red Rocks in 2008 and that was a fabulous show.   I am pretty disappointed and hope we have John McCusker back for the UK and European gigs.   :-\

His voice isn`t too good I have to admit.
Maybe he`s got a sore throat or something.. The tour is long people, everything can happen. Well, we`ll see how it goes, i`m not complaining right now! ;D

Mind you, I like Mark's low singing on tracks like Sonny Liston and the way he sang on the OES tour. I just don't like the whispering mumbling.

Anyway, Why Aye Man is excellent. I can see why they swapped Cleaning My Gun for this one, it's so full of energy and has a strong chorus. But why not do both of them?  ;D

Hey, I think Tim does a good job on STP, though he forgets the lyrics. Note that when he sings (mumbles) "you talk of liberty", Mark answers "Do I?"  ;D Kind of ruins the serious mood, but what the heck. It's all fun anyway.

Even if he does play songs such as Donegan, Bonapart, OSL, etc at my gigs, I will still be bowled over, as usual.

My cousin and her husband are going to Brighton with us and they have never been to an MK concert before, so everything will be fresh for them and, of course many more who have never seen an MK gig, so I am happy for those people!     :)

LOL Val, I am sure they will be as excited as I was in 2008 and I am already excited now by reading all the news!! ;D I can't wait to meet you, your cousin and other fans this year!

Before Gas and TV is one of my favourites too and I hope he will sing that one and also Monteleone, Border Reiver, Get Lucky and Piper Till the End!!LOL  .............BUT when he doesn't, I don't mind, there are already many beautiful and great songs played! I am sure I will have a great time again! ;D

Just listened to Coyote again and it is amazing, especially the outro.  I hope he plays it at one of my gigs!   ;D

I like the horns on the album, but the live sample sounds cheap; I know that's what people been saying about the album sound for years but I don't agree.

Border Reiver is my favorite!
What a great song to hear live, are there already more recordings available?

Hey Val, I didn't hear the sound yet! After I got my new computer, I still have to find out again how to download de torrents etc. A while ago I saw I still have access to the Spanish tracker, but because I have to make maps, torrents etc for the downloads again, I didn't use it a long time! I wish I had much more time and knowledge about this kind of things. :-[ ::)

Well Coyote isn't one of my favourites, but as you know TR and Speedway weren't either in 2008 .......TILL I heard them for the first time at the concert. Whaauwww I LOVED it! Same might happen now with songs I didn't hear life before! ;D
