I don't think the forum is as a whole negative, but it does seem as if the current tour is raising more nagetive feedback. That is largely because of (whether perceived or real) repetition, and because of the songs that are being played being songs that a lot of people of the forum aren't that fussed about. However, you could also say that the people on this forum are just as representative as the rest of the people who listen to MK and the band. Let's be fair thoug - it's great to still see the show, even if the show does have a familiar ring to it.
It seems to me that most people aren't too fussed by Rudiger, Sonny, Monteleone and others. Art isn't about democracy, bums on seats is about democracy. If we don't like it, well, don't buy a ticket, I suppose! But, even if we know these songs are going to be played, there's nothing we can do except enjoy them as best we can. On the other hand, as Simon rightfully puts, Tunnel of Love would go down an absolute storm - is there anybody who would not want it played?? - but if the guy doesn't want to play it, it's just our tough luck.
Repetition, certain songs, whatever: negativity may have a part to play in this forum, but we're still all here because we love MK and the way he plays. That's surely a bigger positive than anything....
