I would not recommend the ECM-719. It's not very stealthy and it doesn't pick up much bass. I started out with one way back when and now it's sitting in its original box collecting dust. I even tried to ebay it a while back and no one even wanted it.  :lol

Instead, I would recommend some mics from either of these companies:

Hi Jbaent,

Maybe you should get in touch with Chris Church from Church Audio.
He has an Eb** store. Easy to find but I don't know if can put that kind of link here.  
Anyway, he's very active on audio forums and you will find him.
I would suggest his CA11's mics.
It's better to discuss with him : he has many stealthy solutions.
Be careful of the availability and delays.  

I think there was a 2008 recording made with these mics.
I may be wrong but I would say it's one of the french gigs.
You should listen to it to make your own opinion.

My comment on the Sony ECM-719 : I have one of these.
It's so poorly made that the clip is broken.
It's not worth the money.

I would not recommend Chris Church at all. His communication isn't the greatest and his build times are almost a month long. Some people seem to like his gear though.

I was aware of Chris Church's build times. Furthermore, he would have to ship to Europe...  :'(
I've never been in touch with him so I can't say anything about his communication.
Just heard a couple of recordings and it sounds great for the price.

But you're right Dan not to recommend Chris Church : very risky for the Get Lucky tour.
Thank you for you advice.  :)
I'm also looking for a new recording gear and I have to say Chris Church was one of my preferred options. ???
