Toronto 2008 soundboard??
« on: April 29, 2010, 08:15:19 PM »
Just read this on Guy's site:

"Back on board the plane for another 18 minutes and into Toronto for tomorrow's show at the Massey Hall, a venue I remember well as the last time we were there, the show went live on-air to radio."

I don't remember any radio broadcasts from the last tour. ???

There was a radio broadcast in 2001 from Toronto, Massey Hall.  Maybe Guy has lost track of time or perhaps they haven't played Massey Hall since 2001.

They played in Toronto in 2005, but not at Massey Hall but at Molson Amphittheatre.

Perhaps he is remembering the broadcast in 2001:

By the way, Sailing To Philadelphia and Brothers In Arms from the 3rd May 2001 are included on the Ragpicker's Dream Bonus Disc.

I remembered the 2001 soundboard, in fact I have the bootleg but surely he's not lost track of time that much and Guy is usually pretty accurate. :o

2001 was indeed the last time they played at Massey Hall. 2005, 2006 (with Emmylou Harris) and 2008 it was the Molson Amphitheatre. So Guy is  accurate once again.

The broadcasted concert was indeed the StP tour concert at Massey Hall. The last time they were there.
