Very well said. As the old saying goes "the show must go on." It's simply not good planning if they have to cut short concert's to catch their plane. Surely five minutes wouldn't make any difference. 
That's precisely why I think the reason given (plane to catch), albeit real, is a secondary reason, the primary reason being... something else that they don't want to talk about. Maybe a health problem, from MK or possibily from somebody else. Otherwise, they would have taken 5 minutes more, or plan to suppress a secondary song in the middle of the setlist...
Anyway, if someone was in pain, it might have been possible to see it, but definitely not to hear it; I have listened to the full show and these 14 songs sound awsome...
