That's what I say. I've seen better matches with a more "friendly" approach... And yes, I'm talking about the Dutch team. ;) Personally, I think "we" deserved at least one red extra (THE kick if you know what I mean)... ::) But still, Spain is the winner! ;D

Like Uruguay - Germany.

And it seems that they did a great price selling their stock of unused yellow cards, cond. mint , full set, still shrink-wrapped...

The whole end game was a disgrace for all teams who played aesthetic, great football during the tournament. 120 mins of pure boredom and a dozen fouls (hey, great sports spirit, Holland)! The final should have been Germany vs. Uruguay. Both of them would have deserved the cup.
I still can't stand the Dutch team and their "Rumpelfu

I guess the fact that it was the final match played a role in there too. But that doesn't justify the way of playing. Germany - Uruguay was much more interesting to see (although I couldn't do anything else because of heart flutterings). :lol Way too hot to do anything with the heat...

Come on people, Spain was playing hard too. They were crying on the ground by every little sliding :disbelief Is that sportive? NO!
Schwalbe-football...

We were playing too hard, true. But don't see Spain as an Angel-team... The referee wasn't goot at all! Because he didn't give a 100% corner to
Holland, Spain scored a minute later in the counter. So Spain got lucky with that goal.

And Jbaent:

Stop moaning.... you're worldchampion, congrats! Enjoy! But stop posting those stupid GIF's/Video's.

Yes it is, actually I was very worried about the match, because we were playing against HOLLAND!!!! The football Spain is playing from four years back is based in the same idea that made Holland team famous, so we were playing against the master!!!!

It's not right. De Jong and Van Bommel made 1 hard foul each, the rest wasn't a worth a card. The media blows up the story and slaughtered the Dutch team.  :disbelief

The 2 yellow cards (red) of Heitinga was not right! Iniesta made a schwalbe the second time... fell to the ground for nothing... It's just ridiculous

There are always two sides of the story, thats obvious  ;)

Reading international chronicles (not spanish and not dutch) made all more clear to me. Actually there is one I read very shocking:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31751_162-20010211-10391697.html

But hey, its written by USA reporters, what they know about football?  ;D

However, The Netherlands made a very good competition, they deserved to reach the final, and I do hope they do it again, and the next time, they do it with his famous style, brilliant football. Spain showed that its possible to win playing that way, thanks to the dutch for teach us many years ago that glorious football style.

Yes, but you talk about violence... That's way over the top. The kick of Nigel De Jong was hard. But just a case of bad timing. He didn't want to
kick Xabi Alonso in 2 pieces ofcourse ;) No intention to knock him down.

There are different ways of play hard, and most of the De Jong and Van Bommel actions were far from hard, and the general attitude of all the dutch team was to play very hard, sometimes crossing the line, and that, for a team that knows how to play, and historically teach the world world how to do it, its violence.

I still admire the elegant players that are Sneijder, Van der Vaar, Robben or Van Persie, I even admired Van Bommel, but I guess that a world cup final made you think that you want to win, no matter how.

Football still owns The Netherlands one world cup, and I hope the next one could be yours, actually, what about win it in four years against Spain? But this time, playing like they know, Deal?
