Hi all,

For your information, Mark is featured on lead guitar on Hey Mister Night on the first single, but also played on another track which will be released at a later date. This second track will not feature on the album. The debut single of "'s Too Much / Hey Mister Night" is available now for pre-order at http://bowalton.webs.com/apps/webstore/ <or> http://tabitharecords.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2676635 and more release info will follow! Watch this space!!

I am a Mark Knopfler fan and have been for many years - his work on the two tracks is beautiful and was a huge compliment to me. I hope you like what you hear!

Best Regards,

Bo Walton

Hi Pottel,
Many thanks for ordering the single - much appreciated! I was out tonight with the record label CEO and collected the first batch of singles. We are all really pleased with it and I hope you all are, too. The album is scheduled for release early in 2012 - possibly February - but the full track listing is yet to be decided on.

Mark recorded the guitars on these tracks quite a while ago - in fact, the two songs where Mark makes an appearance are some of my very first recordings from 1992/93, which sound far too good to leave off the new releases. Ed Bicknell heard the original tracks and played them to Mark, who expressed an interest in playing on them! The overdubbed guitar parts he laid down were recorded at some point in 1994, exact dates to be confirmed with producer John David, and we have remastered and re-recorded vocals to bring the tracks up-to-date, but Mr Knopfler's parts have remained in tact from those original sessions!

I really hope you love what you hear - please feel free to join the Bo Walton Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bo-Walton/283974374952563 and let me know what you think.

Please also feel free to spread the word amongst your community pages - I'm sure you'll love Mark's "magic" on "Hey Mister Night" - "Miss You Bad" will follow soon after and will be announced on the Facebook page shortly!

Many thanks,

Bo

Hi all,

Hope you've received your CD's - please let us know what you think of it. Mark played a Gold-coloured birds-eye maple PRS on Track 2 - Hey Mister Night - through a Fender Tweed Deluxe amp. It's such a sweet, distinctive MK sound, I think you'll agree.

Please feel free to join us at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bo-Walton/283974374952563 and post a photo of yourself with the CD. We'd love to see you all there!

Love and Best Wishes,

Bo

I just had a look on your facebook, it's fun to see the people (or their dogs or their cats or their kids) with the CD. I might buy it just for that  ;D

Hello Bo

Its very nice to see the artists talking in our forum, it makes me feel proud of being part of this.

You mentioned before that MK played on another track that wont be at the album. Will it be available in any way? digital download, as am extra song in other single or in a next album?

I listened to the songs and liked very much, very interesting that the songs were recorded during the Dire Straits days.
You might get lucky, now and then

Hi,

Thank you all for your comments! It's great to be part of such a passionate community of MK fans...

The other song Mark recorded guitars for is titled "Miss You Bad" - a rolling, country-style song on which he added the beautiful tone of his vintage 0000089 Strat, gifted to him by Paul Kennerley - and boy does it sound awesome!

This song will be released at a later date, possibly on the second album or a CD single bonus track - please join the Facebook Fan Page by heading here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bo-Walton/283974374952563 and clicking "Like" - we'll keep you up to date with all the latest news and forthcoming releases. You can also head over to http://tabitharecords.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2676635 to purchase the single or the constantly updated Bo Walton website : http://bowalton.webs.com/ - and you'll be sure to be kept up to date!

Thank you all again - I look forward to all comments on the single release, good or bad, and hopefully see you on the road sometime soon!

Bo
