Wild West End - 1985
« on: September 21, 2008, 03:02:40 PM »
Anoyone else think that Jack Sonni's solo is not atall right in the context of the song. On the album it is a sweet little thing where you imagine walking round in London whereas live it sounds like something guns n roses have just destroyed!

I think it is one of Mark's few mistakes in his career letting Jack ruin the song like that!
Btw, i do Love all of jack's other stuff just not that solo!

The link above is to Wild West End in Toroonto 1985!

Any thoughts?

maybe it was to have some contrast, letting others play.
Mark even left the stage for that solo.

It's pretty clear to me that he had another purpose in mind when he left the stage. ;D
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along
