"i used to could" live

seems to be a nice live song - when you look for the dire straits feeling, i think here we are

Cool! And too bad Jim Cox is so low in the mix. Someone here recently said they'd rather have Matt back. With all due respect to him, that must have been a joke. Jim's the best!

Mark sounds good, yes. But while I don't mind this being the only Straits song, I don't quite understand how Guy Fletcher can still play these synth sounds. They're particularly awful on this song, like strait from 1986. Arrrghhh ... ::)

"i used to could" is amazing live. could be from "Alchemy". Very fresh, better on the album, as always: on stage the MK Sound is rockier. And i like the drums of Ian.

Hope the song stays in the 2013 list.

Looking forward to hear the live guitar on "Yon two Crows"  ;)

It has a bit of the spirit of "Two Young Lovers" with harmonica instead of sax....I thought MK said that the extended dance play EP was a mistake ? ;)

LOL, LE.  You're right, of course.  I checked out AMIT this morning before I had my coffee .... thought that was MK boogyin'.  I'm glad it wasn't, actually.  Would have been so out of character. :-*

I remember doing him during Walk Of Life on the OES tour sometimes, as can be seen on the video from Basel for example...

(Boy, how sick am I remembering THAT...)

Not as bad as Jack Sonni's moves during the same song during the BIA tour. :-[

Good job he managed to make up for it by making himself the "king of cool" with his Live Aid sunglasses! 8)

Do Knopfler fans have cell/mobile phones and know how to access AMIT?

Plenty of complaints about non fans not posting Mark's set list, but why the heck are no MK fans doing so?? :think
