what I meant was, these are b-sides that WERE played at some point, so nothing is impossible.

Which means it is in the same league as the songs some people always mention like Real Girl and stuff - he never will play bonus songs live.. but Follow The Ribbon is a great song. Together with Occupation Blues it really should have been on the album. Double Album could have survived 22 instead of 20 songs...

Totally agree. I love Follow the ribbon, one of my favorites, actually THE favorite from me. But the only change we will have it is when Paul Franklin joins the stage I guess ;-(

John has posted picture on Twitter from rehersals where there seems to be a man with a saxophone on the stage. Can't see who. Exciting 8)

Edit: Nigel Hitchcock played saxophone on Privateering. Can anyone tell me on which song? Is there a chance for Your latest trick? :)

Jarle, he played on Radio City Serenade, very little part. There is always a chance, would be the answer of Guy, I guess. Also for Solid Rock, Two Young Lovers.... Not TOTALLY obsessed about a saxophone on stage, but every new impulse is great nevertheless!

OMG...
Could we dream of the return of the infamous sax break in Sultans from the BIA and OES tours ?? and the sax in R&J ?? That would be awesome !
My worst fears (in decreasing order of concern):
- TR is not played, and is not replaced with TOL either; this would be very, very sad.
- SAN is not played. This would be the end of an era
- Yon Two Crows is not played in every show but just alternating with KOG. I would be pissed, as YTC is by far my favourite from Privateering, very addictive song, and the live version with the guitar solo is a killer - made me feel that DS was back !!
- Border and Piper from GL are gone... Border is such a great opener and Piper such a great closer that I want them badly !

SAN-era has already been ended, we don't have Danny anymore  >:(

I can imagine him leaving TR and I never really dreamed about TOL appearing again, too unrealistic

We'll see what will happen, I hope we will have the first reports in less than a week  :)
Please visitors of Bukarest, give us the information a.s.a.p.

I can see John in the picture, but not Mike, so I don't think it's "Radio City Serenade" - something else!   :think    8)

Maybe whilst listening to the Madrid 2010 recoding of TR Mark realised it was time to drop the song because he couldn't do it justice any more.  Now with the sax he decided to replace it with the long version of Sultans...

Whatever the scenario, any return of a saxophone is extremely interesting and very welcome as far as I'm concerned.  It's always suited Mark's music in a live situation.  The Range Rover launch event was an indication after all.

However the thing is if there is any new member just to play sax, or some of the musicians can play it...
