I wonder whether without Sultans or Speedway, the energy level would be a bit lower in the set?

At the bar they now serve Horlicks! :lol

I am learning a great amount on this forum.  ...Not just MK/DS "stuff", but other things, such as what the heck "Horlicks" is  :think.  Thanks to AMIT (and Wikipedia), I am in the know!!  8)

I am not the person to moan about the setlist but when you skip Sultans AND Speedway you are doing something very wrong in my opinion. Those songs are so good, why would you skip them? I really don't understand..

Hi all,

The first gig of the tour where they played 'I Dug Up A Diamond', 'Seattle' and 'Kingdom of Gold' together?

Regards.

Very funny and somehow close to the truth : it's probably (Ruth's) Daddy who involved the setlist changes.  :think
Her parents and sister were in the audience. Pretty obvious that Mark gave her an extra spot.
Very nice to get a live version of KOG.  :thumbsup
Then he was "obliged" to remove a 7-8 minute track.  :disbelief
Too bad he didn't play SAN because he was on fire. Terrific version of TR. Better than in Paris.  ;D

After chatting about the quality of audio on typical youtube clips, I really want to share these amazing uploads that have clearly used the soundboard source or USB rip. This Uploader is awesome and I have to say the sound when presented like this just proves how incredible Knopfler and band are.... Stunning

Hm. Great videos but don't get your point (again today, sorry, it's STILL hot..)
All you can hear is the usb soundboard recording obviously. So why does the uploader should be praised for this? Its sort of illegal in a way and will probably be taken off YouTube sooner or later... but the Kingdom of Gold version is very nice indeed and it is great to hear some songs from sticks you don't have, of course...

great video / audio matrix.

I have (heard) more DVD-bootlegs with the original released sound on top of it, some with even more than a single cam ;D

don't know if it will be banned from you-tube, the whole privateering album is on you tube in a more or less creative way  :think

Don't worry LE.... I'm too hot too. :P

I'm praising the uploader based on my listening pleasure.... Sorry but legalities aside I honestly don't care as I get to hear some amazing versions of the songs. At least it gives me a taste of what I might purchase on sticks. :)
