A Toast to the Tour
« on: August 02, 2013, 05:50:59 PM »
So, the end to this wonderful tour has come, and as with all things, it seems to be an abrupt and unceremonious conclusion. Although I only attended two concerts and only met one AMIT member (although a very important one ;D), the warmth and camaraderie of the group always shines through, even over the internet. This group of people truly is something special - just like the man who is honored here. And so, at 19:30 hours London time on Saturday, August 3rd, I will raise a glass to mark the end of this wonderful tour of music, friendship and fun! Please join me if you can.

Sounds like an excellent idea. :thumbsup :clap  After 5 years of being a member in this forum, I feel totally fortunate to be part of this wonderful community sharing our love and passion for our one and only MAN.  Along the way making friends with people I personally came to know and those only through the forum. It's been a wonderful experience.  :thumbsup :clap    :wave

Would it be possible to have like a world time conversion posted  here?

Cheers Rkd and all the others!

I met this great group of fans in Autumn 2006 and became a fan of Mark, because so many nice people welcomed me and were willing to share information, told about Mark's music and shared their beautiful videos! Because of their help I learned a lot and discovered so many beautiful songs of Mark I never heard about before!

So, Cheers again to the fans, especial those I was able to meet these years! Of course also CHEERS to Mr. Knopfler and band members for singing and playing so many fantastic songs and for Touring which is always something I am looking forward to!

Now we have to wait again till next album and Tour!   :(
