This example is even worst
change the color for candy apple red , did a matching headstock making the Fender and Mark Knopfler signature lost for ever...
Pickguard is not stock either....

Bought mine with original case for 1600 euros , so keep eyes open and figers crossed ,  you might get lucky now and then

Wow! That's a definition of the word "Facepalm". I'd buy it with 90% discount though.

At least , the "new color" has "some kind of " link with Mark ,  Schecter Dream Machine from Alchemy era .... ;D

Yeah, that was kind of pointless. Better sell the guitar in original condition, and build a guitar with that color scheme and similar parts from Warmoth.

But look at the neck pocket! Messy! That can't be from the original guitar?

Agree, never seen such a mess in a neck pocket...not even in low budget guitars!!!!
Totally pointless....

There are multiple for sale right now but none is ok for me

Clearly messed with because you see the pickup covers are too bright for the pickguard (I guess not aged white but rather white or eggshell) and at the truss rod somebody made an indent into the pickguard.

overpriced and with multiple lacquer damages.

looks ok but it has a new pickguard assembly on it, while the old one is with the guitar. Not sure the case is original either.

ridiculous price considering the dings and dongs.

Now is not a good moment to buy because it is a seller's market. People are in lock down, bored, so they buy guitars.

If you need one, bite the bullet and get a Custom Shop one. will be a couple hundred Euro more expensive but a much better Strat overall.
Mine came with a brown case when new, 2003 model.

Thanks, dustyvalentino!

Pavel, you have asked recently about the prototype Strat Mark Played in the late 2000s. Here is a good example:

The majority of MK Strats came with brown cases and it's noted that in the last few years of production (2011-2013) that the guitars came with black cases....

Guys, I am not sure why it took me this long to get one ... I've wanted one ever since they came out, but just never got one for some reason. The guitar should get here Sunday! I saw one for sale, it was more than I wanted to pay, but I was tired of mucking about.
