Looking for lost MK fans
« on: January 30, 2014, 10:41:39 PM »
Hi there!

A long long long time ago I used to talk on the MKnews chat and on the hub with two guys Tommy Jackman from UK and Rune Hansen from Norway.

Anyone here remember them? Are you still in touch? I would be SO happy to have news from them !
They are unfindable on facebook :( ( several guys have the same name....).

Cheers

Nelly

Is Tommy Jackman identical with our former member TommyJ88? he left a long time ago which is a pity. I always appreciated his posts.

Edit: It was TommyJ88, not Tommy88.

Yeah,

it's TommyJ88, not Tommy88. His AMIT account is not deleted, but was last used in 2009. Although I was active at MKNews, I first got in touch with him on AMIT. The story about that deleted Get Lucky thread seemed to piss him off (which I can understand very well  ::) ). He had some very good sights about lyrics and helped me a lot to understand MK much better.

You editors, maybe you still have access to his e-mail-address  ;D - but of course his decision should be respected.

He had also a YouTube channel under his name I remember..

Thanks !

I didn't know he was active here! We used to talk a lot on MKchat and msn it was a long time ago !

He even got me a second row tix for MK gig at the RAH so we met there ! It was in 2005...

I've found his email adress here !  I hope he still uses it.

His youtube channel is not active for years, I had it in my favorites, even his myspace :(

Btw !  Thanks LE

If I remember correctly, it was after the Canadian leak and before the release. People discussed the new songs and suddenly the thread was gone, deleted. Next day the original posters started discussing in a new thread, and it was not a big deal. But since then, he never posted again.

Dusty, I've often wondered about Hazel from the T-R email list, too. She was so active on that.

I went to Shepherd's Bush 2002 with her son, he was a nice chap too.

Dusty, I remember her son was a big MK fan, too, and she used to talk about him a lot. Cool that you got to meet him. Did you know Hazel, too?

Never met Hazel but like on here there were lots of friendships formed without ever meeting.

For example I uploaded a funny BBC show on Spinal Tap a while back, it was originally sent to me on cassette hy Hazel.  :)
