A bit off topic but - last night went to Transatlantic Sessions @ Birmingham and Phil Cunningham said that Paul Crockford was there - I guess that is the PC??  Does he manage anyone there

Great music

 :)

now I see, he manages Danny Thompson

Hi Sak4 - We were at Liverpool Phil on Tuesday and had a great time.  Off to Bury tomorrow to see John, Mike and John Doyle!  Should be fun!   :)

Funnily enough I said to Mandy it's about time MK played a cameo on TAS!! I would dearly love to hear him play a session. By the way we love it but not keen on too much of the 'slide' guitar to be honest....

We all had a fantastic time last night at The Met in Bury - a really intimate venue and the audience were so enthusiastic!  JJ&M were amazing - such wonderful musicianship and, Knopflerfan, not a slide guitar in sight!  ;D  It was great to see Ingrid again too!

I always enjoy TS immensely, for the great musicianship and also the chance to see 17+ wonderful artists on stage at the same time, but of the two I would probably choose the JJ&M show - it really is as though they have come to play in your own front room!   :)   Can't wait for the next one in Saltaire!

You do really have to be there to appreciate it, dusty.   YouTube doesn't do them justice at all.
