Thinking about that album and the 2008 tour is pure bliss for me. Although there is that one flaw connected to it: I still cannot listen to In The Sky in a relaxed mood as it starts to ramble in my mind what it is about. Still. So many good songs on it, recorded in an excellent and very intimate, phantastic sounding way. Gosh! I might give it a try tonight. Would be my first encounter with MK music since late 2019..

The 2008 tour was just outstanding in every way. As for the album - pure quality!!

The first two concerts at the HMH in Amsterdam were so exciting, hearing songs from The Ragpicker's Dream live for the first time!  Goosebumps!

For those unaware, here is the 'unreleased' version - cool MK riff!!

* Mark Knopfler & Joe Bonamassa - NOT just a hobby, but a way of life!

* Owner of Two Fender 'Mark Knopfler' Signature Series Stratocaster's (SE00616 & SE03805) both with signed Fender labels after meeting MK at Bridport, Dorset UK on the 27/09/2013!

My oldest son was a two month old baby at Hay on Wye, 14 year old teenager now  :o

That's where you met MK in the car park wasn't it? Time flies!

Close, on the street along from the car park!

KTGC is my least favourite MK or DS album. But there are a few good tracks on it.

And so LE my friend, did this discussion about SW force you to revisit the album after all this time?
