Sultans 'Mark only' version
« on: September 25, 2017, 06:15:30 PM »
See what I found: a version of Sultans of Swing with just Mark (vocals, lead, and two rhythm guitars by MK, only the spare backing vocals is not Mark). Obviously it is compiled from the guitar hero tracks, but it is absolutely perfect in sync without any audible glitches or transitions or such.

Cool, but it's that I believe are still Guitar Hero tracks, it's just they was mastered together (solo & vox + rhythm part) from a circulating multitrack.

I've done the same thing with Walk Of Live multitrack:

I took the rhythm guitar track and laid it over the vocal track. The result was this cool stripped-down one guitar Walk Of Life :D

What baffles me in both songs is that they almost lose nothing even while being completely naked.

That's what I said. For the non-guitar players surely more fun to listen to than to the single tracks with all those gaps.

Quite nice, I like it.

I always thought that those multitracks would be ideal to a mix like those maxi singles in the 80s with long instrumental intros etc
