Mark´s live solos and member live performances
« on: October 05, 2017, 12:43:23 AM »
Have you  noticed that all musicans at DS band play almost the same notes and chords but Mark?

In any song , all of them have played their share and Mark made twistes each time.

AC keybords, John and Chris, they seldom changed their set notes

The only member that changed each gig was Mark.

I am wrong?

I guess that was Mark's own decision for the sake of perfecting the things as much as possible.

Take a listen to The Straits' version of Your Latest Trick — Chris White goes all other the place, not only on stage, but even playing-wise. It gives me the feeling like he just has been released from the cage or something. In DS days he was just standing there playing nice saxophone, and here what? What's up with all these accents and stuff? Why to dance around the guitar player? Imagine that at any DS gig!

Yes, he feels free.
Mark surely had a very strict  personality

On the BIA tour Chris played some nice solos on R&J and they were different each night.  I think he played the same only on the OES tour.  Maybe Mark reigned him in!
"I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order."
