Didn't MK and Jerry Douglas both play on the Bap Kennedy album?

Now this is folk music I'll NEVER will be tired with! Played with Phil Cunningham by the way.

+1
And is that the amazing Jerry Douglas I spot there?

And the amazing Aly Bain, long-time collaborator with Phil Cunningham.  Phil and Aly have been touring constantly for about a hundred years and always put on a great show.

This time Mark has more work. Despite age, it does not slow down. I have a lot of respect for him and I am happy that so many new music are ahead of us. Yesterday I watched Local Hero and after years I know that only Mark could compose music for this film.

i wonder how he will cope with other playing his music in not quite the perfect way that he does. For someone so hands on making a musical is quite a departure.
Can't see how he will be on tour in spring 2019 when the musical opens.

Why not? Mk won't play at the musical, he probably just will attend the premiere in the audience. It doesn't interfere with his touring.

It certainly will, because why he records it in the studio anyway? And this of course is a record I want to hear desperately.
