The most expected question for me was the one MK is being asked about minute 30 of the interview, the involvement of MK during the representations.

If I'm right, as MK adopted a Scottish accent sometimes difficult for me, MK says he will be "around" but not playing, acting etc

Please someone, specially our Scottish amiters, could transcribe it more accurately?

I gave it another listen, as I am curious if he would be there.  I had the impression he did not really answer with a clear yes or no.
But English is not my mother tongue, either!
So still hope to get a glimpse on him there!

I understood something I already told here as a guess, that he will attend the shows, with David Greig and Bill Forsyth, at least the firsts ones to check if everything goes well or need changes.

Also, if I understood correctly, his involvement with the musical started with David Greig asking MK for permission to use the soundtrack songs for the musical and ended with MK sending some demos with songs for some of the characters... And from there to be writing the songs and music and cowriting with Greig and Forsyth.

I didn't detect a Scottish accent, and I should know!  Earlier he adopted one for his Bill Forsyth impersonation regarding Burt Lancaster but that was only a few words.

He said he will be "somewhere or other just to keep an eye on things..."
"I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order."

MK has a bit of a 'posh' Geordie accent but certainly no Scottish tones there...

I'm Spanish, if MK is interviewed in a Scottish radio by a Scottish journalist in company of a Scottish writer, and it's more difficult than usual for me to understand, my little knowledge of the British accent makes me think he's speaking with a Scottish accent, lol

Actually, I find more difficult to understand MK when he's being interviewed in the UK, or he talks to a British audience that when he's talking for other non native English audience, TV or radio... Specially when he's in Scotland or Newcastle, I find it harder to understand.

I can't understand almost anything that David Gilmour says no matter where he's talking, lol

That's a surprise, David Gilmour speaks more posh and more clearly and confidently than Mark does.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I find it very very difficult to understand him, really. But MK I understand almost everything he says except when he's in "his cities", lol.

There are certainly a great many regional accents in Scotland within only a few miles of each other, even within Glasgow and it's surrounding area.

And I'd say that it would take a lot to have an album... it might have the songs that are being performed and there is a chance that when they are representing the musical some songs might change or be take away from the show etc...

They are recording a lot, that's for sure, as some of the musicians involved (Robbie, Marcus Cliffe etc) posted pictures of the sessions but, who knows what would end in the record in the end...
