Mark Knopfler Christmas Card Recording

Hi Everyone,

Bit of a strange question,

Some time ago ... (the 90's!) I remember having a small MP3 that was supposedly a recording of MK playing a short excerpt of a christmas carol , (born on christmas day perhaps?)

It was supposedly used in some sort of Christmas card that was given out and when you opened it up it would play this Lo-fi recording...

I can't seem to find any info about this anywhere and I've long since lost the mp3,

Have I imagined this? does this is exist? If so what was the story behind this christmas card??

Unfortunately I don't think these are it, It was only 7 seconds long or so, and just mark playing guitar very lo quality recording (like you would expect from a hallmark christmas card with sound) I'm going to have another dig around for it, Hopefully I can find it, I'm super curious about the story behind it!

Yes, I think it was a sort of christmass card that when opened it sounded about 7 seconds of some MK licks... I never see it but it sounded like that

I’m not talking about the sound quality at all... I can recognize Mark even if he plays tango under the water lol it just doesn’t sound like him.
