Hi all
Can anyone tell me where I can find videos with mark talking about song writing ,how he thought of the songs, does he start with words or chords or riffs etc?

If there’s a place you can find it it’s on YouTube but it’ll require time and patience. There are dozens of interviews available online as well.

there is no rule for that, it's the song who calls, sometimes you place the melody first, sometimes you build a song around the lyrics. remember, the song is the king!

I've read more books and interviews on songwriting than anyone else. But I still can't write songs, even though I know how it's done.
When you can't do something even when you know how it's done, I think this is that you can call real talent. Others call it "magic" :wave
