Ragpickers dream vinyl limited edition
« on: July 13, 2018, 08:38:17 AM »
Hello
A friend of mine asked me something about the Ragpickers dream limited vinyl. He has a copy with the "limited numbered edition" sticker in the cover, but in the back cover, where it was supposed to be the number, it's blank... he asked about this and I took a look at mine and it hasn't any number either...

I have seen copies in internet with the number in the back cover, so, i think it's rare I have one without the number, and also my friend... does it happens with any of you?
You might get lucky, now and then

My is numbered, and when I was searching for one I've seen some "number-less" LPs. If I remember correctly, I estimated the whole production to roughly 3000 copies. And the absence of number seems to me just a production failure, and a pity one I have to say.

Or maybe this number-less make them more values as they are missprints  :lol

An interesting issue there jbaent, since I have several releases by other artists with no number where there was supposed to be one.
My Ragpicker copy does have a number, but I always wondered bout the no number releases.
My initial thought was that there was an excess in production, as a security measure (if any copies were defective) and eventually they shipped them all out, instead of destroying the extra copies. The other thought I had was a variation, that the preorders were greater than the original run so they cut some extra but could not number them.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I also bought it, when it came out as 2-LP-Set and as 2-CD-Set.
