Did they do some Frankie Goes To Hollywood, too? Why does he think he must do vocals these days?  :smack  Somebody must have told him that it might be a good idea...

From Guy's Forum:

How was the decision/idea developed that Danny was to sing the Sailing to Philly second part? Have all band members tried it at rehearsal and Danny won? I was a bit surprised because you have been the long-time main second-vocalist. Or was the key (which is indeed quite barritone) too low for you? I remember even James Taylor himself struggling with the low notes live in Boston 2001.

Guy:   Danny is well suited, plus…he asked.

Did they cut off Caviglia to make Danny sing ? he is a much better singer, no doubt

smart choice if it's permanent

He's got a very good voice, I think. Robust, yet emotional. The BIA arrangement was very nice. Cool.

Very nice!  Danny has a great voice; it is warm and rich -- and I like his unassuming style.   :D

It really is. And it strikes me how BIA needs that fire and power, which hasn't really happened for a long time at Mark's shows. I also like the 3/4 time signature they use here. Well done.

Must say I quite like the BIA arrangement where the 'folk' instruments play the guitar parts.
MFN nothing special in my opinion, just a regular cover.

Didn't know Danny could sing this well! Especially on BIA.
His STP part is to low for me, but this is very good.

Wonder if Guy or Mark have seen this and what they think....
