Indeed, he played on those tracks, but the parts may be re-recorded or something, hence him not being sure about it. Anything goes with Mark’s albums, even having Guy seemingly documenting stuff it happens all the time. I wonder is it really this hard to tell people who’ve played on tracks and what instruments was used? Given Mark probably has more guitar geeks among his fans than your typical rock musician, it would be helpful. But seems like rocket science.

Bonaparte with a Gibson les Paul would be something!

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Mark plays this tune for 20+ years and never changed anything really. Some experiments would be nice :lol
Bonaparte with electric and Bonaparte with double bass like on the album is two different songs... With an electric guitar it would be a blast!
i believe it is exactly that's why, then it's not the song is meant to be.
I'm a six foot three albion but you can adjust the seat

Yes, thank you, what a blast again!

Doc And Merle Watson - If I Needed You sounds just like Get Lucky, that's where Mark got inspiration for this song :lol
Moondog - Bird's Lament that's a new discovery for me, seems like a cool guy, lots of listening to come
Otis Redding - Change Gonna Come songs like that is the reason why I love music, what a great version of the song!
Ennio Morricone - Deborah's Theme I agree, Morricone's list of work is one of the most impressive things in the world, go on Wiki and check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_compositions_by_Ennio_Morricone
The Cascades - Rhythm Of The Rain Doo-Wop is the type of music I'd listen on a deserted island, the type of music I always enjoy to listen to, truly immortal music, being extremely vocal in its core and so simple, Doo-Wop forever, I have a whole playlist of that music

Thanks for this. I’ve been hoping Mark would play some Julie Fowlis for months now, so I’m happy.

Binone, thanks for the new episode.  :clap
Once again Mark presented a great variety of songs.
My discovery of the latest episode is singer/songwriter Leif Vollebekk who`s voice and singing style sounds very interesting to me.
I`ve always hoped that Mark sometime will play a John Anderson song because I know both did a few great songs together. Now he made my day.  :D
I am a longtime fan of John Anderson and his version of Marks "When it comes to you" is my favourite one. Sorry, Mark!
Now I am wondering who`s your favourite version, the one by the Straits or John Anderson?
(Sorry I don`t know how to upload a link to the songs)  :hmm

This is all the heaven we've got right here where we are in our shangri-la.
