anyone seen the news that David will do 2 warm up shows in Brighton on 21st and 22nd of sept.?

I tried and failed, Ticketmaster system was quite tricky as every time I picked a ticket it suddenly disappeared without giving me time to get it and when I realised, all were gone... Strange.
I had exactly the same problem, you could select seats then go to checkout and they were unavailable. Crap system as you then had to remove them from the basket to choose different seats. Never known a system like it.

I would be tomorrow in Brighton, and at the RAH. As long as MK has said goodbye to touring, I feel like I need to have a last dance on DG too while I can!

In the PF songs he hardly can sings...

I noticed that too, he struggles singing the higher notes but alas his voice when he sings the lower notes is still awesome...

which is why it is called "rehearsals" innit?

His voice is quite bad at that rehearsals, he doesn't get to sing it...

They weren't that bad! Although compared to Romany's whose voice blows my mind!

Just at the halfway break and I can assure you his voice is in fine form. Fantastic show so far with some absolute classic floyd. If you’ve got tickets for the proper shows which I couldn’t get, youre in for a treat.

one question though, why was the audience SOOOOO far away from the actual stage?

Hi,

They removed 3 stalls areas (front and 2 sides). The reason is that they had LOTS of monitors, mixers, cameras and equipment between the stage and the audience. They were quite massive - also 4+ rows for the available stall area were blocked.

Beside the fact that there was no running to the stage on encore, there wasn't any real difference

Romany's voice is incredible, she is such a revelation. I am excited that he played Marooned, I bet that sounded amazing.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.
