Our Own "Sirius" AMIT
« on: March 07, 2021, 09:39:50 AM »
To get to know each other better through the music we are listening to at the moment also had to make other tastes known, if we gave ourselves our playlist (10 songs), apart from MK and DS of course ...

Mine
Martin Stephenson "Salutations Road"
Coldplay "Til kingdom Come"
Tom Petty "Learning to fly"
John Hiatt "Georgia Rae"
Ben Harper "Remember"
Willy DeVille "Coud You Would You"
Ben Vaughn "The man who has everything"
Tony Joe White "Catawalling Alice in Nice"
John Mellecamp and Me'Shell Ndegeocello "Wild Night"
Johnny Cash "I Hung My Head"

Bob Dylan: Highlands (16:31 min!)
Bob Dylan: Blind Willie McTell live in Oberhausen, MK on guitar, first ever performance of the two together, ...and i was there. legend.
Led Zeppelin: D'yer Ma'ker
Joe Satriani (Time Machine live cd2) Echo (EPIC)
Roy Buchanan Hey Joe ((Live from Austin Texas) (even more fun to watch than listen)
Tim O'brien (with Jerry Douglas) Hey Joe (shivers...amazing playing here)
Leo Kottke Ring Ring
Richard Thompson Tear stained letter live with david Sanborn, Omar Hakim, Jo El Sonnier
Bonnie Rait & Richard Thompson playing Richards song dimming of the day

Dear Pottel...
Stupid surely, but also childish as sometimes I can be ... :-))
It was just a curiosity of what the fans here could listen to right now and give others musical ideas. But I admit the choice is difficult.

I just realized that people don't really care about what music somebody listens to. Even Mark's show on Sirius XM, clearly, caused just some tiny ripples in the lives of a couple of dozens of nerds, but no more. I just released a video on my own channel with the music I love and people simply don't care. Sad, but true. As you may remember, in the thread of Mark's show there were a lot of "thank yous", but only 1% of actually discussing music that he played.
