Pallant House Gallery Gig
« on: September 16, 2009, 02:17:56 PM »
Guy's site has been updated and it seems they done a pretty similar set to the Hurlingham one without Brothers:

Sailing to Philadelphia
Sultans of Swing
Secondary Waltz
Romeo and Juliet
Get Lucky
Why Bother
Money for Nothing
Monteleone
Marbletown
If this is Goodbye
Local Hero

I don't know if they were all complete this time but there was a compere this time too.

Go to Guy's site for a link to the auction of the guitar and a rather nice picture:

Nice pic, and really similar setlist.   Any recording?

My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

Yeah, just SW and Marbletown in there instead and no BIA this time around.  Interestingly, Guy's site doesn't say some songs like SoS or MFN were excerpts.

I think it was invitation only (correct me if I'm wrong) so unfortunately we may have to do without a recording of this one.
