Guy is changing the tubes from the microphone and testing the right voltage for it because the auction will be recorded on tape.

I’m beginning to wonder whether this auction is actually going to happen today. Obviously it’s a pretty major fault.

Makes 'This ones not going to end well' look like a prophecy....

This one’s not even going to start at this rate!

1350 now and Mark is technically still the owner of all those lots…

Wonder if the demand was greater than they expected?

It shouldn't even happen. 600 million people saw Live Aid in the 80s without any glitches.  :)

It wouldn’t surprise me. That being said, Christie’s are experienced at doing this sort of thing. You’d think they had planned for all contingencies.

I was logged in on the bidder's section from the start. Now all of the sudden the page started to refresh.

Wow!

Blimey. I knew there would be a good deal of interest but this is quite incredible.

Due to unprecedent level of interest.

So... the Christies IT Team, aparentely, not performed a Stress Test on his servers.

Well, yes. You’d think they’d have the appropriate systems in place for just such an eventuality.

Now, had MK had a management with do-ers they would have  arranged to stream another single from the new album.
