Wonder if the demand was greater than they expected?

It shouldn't even happen. 600 million people saw Live Aid in the 80s without any glitches.

It wouldn’t surprise me. That being said, Christie’s are experienced at doing this sort of thing. You’d think they had planned for all contingencies.
