Dire Straits In Colour. All from the Nimes 'On The Night' sound check.

I think I've never seen that Tele being played at a DS show... at least that I can remember.

Very nice pictures, Chris.

in general, are you satisfied with how your book went commercially? (think the critical acclaim WAS/IS all around)
also, you should do a Macca book alike
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I still have books available. I printed quite a few.
There may be a Macca book down the line. It will take hours of scanning negatives and photo restoration though.

I guess they must have had spare guitars, just in case. Or maybe it was a favourite of Phil's that didn't end up being needed in the show?

Three more, this time from Feyenoord, sound checking ahead of more 'On The Night' recordings.

Hope it helps

Thanks for that.
Yeah, I have quite a few books still available.
I'm in this for the long haul, not a quick sale and out.

Chris, would you happens to have any pictures of marks/phils backline from the tour or rehearsal?
Must complement your book again, a real gem for all fans! Thanks for making it available for us

No because I had no interest in guitar gear, or keyboards.
I only have this one poor quality pic of Mark's guitar rack under the stage. It was so dark under there it was hard to take film photo.
