In other news, do not want to start a new topic for this, John Illsley has released new tourdates. He will play four concerts in the Netherlands in december.

And this is related to the 25th anniversary of STP how exactly?  :lol

Do America is on the vynil, as far as I'm concerned, but there's no point buying that album again. no outtakes, no live tracks, why bother. and I'm also not a vynil aficcionado...!!!

Just for info, I received this morning a mail from my contact at Universal France about a release of STP on 26th september

its says : "Mark Knopfler's second album is reissued on transparent vinyl for the first time on the occasion of its 25th anniversary."

the track listing is the standard one with only 13 tracks : One more matinee, but no Do America

so, I'm afraid there will be no additionnal stuff...

I hope I'm wrong...

This whole anniversay business is just funny. I get making a deal of milestone albums such as BIA, but STP?

And by the way, Do America ... There's a filler if there ever was one  :thumbsdown

Why not? Good reason for a re-issue.

Can we expect Golden Heart again in 2026?  ;)
I know the way I can see by the moonlight

As it is the only one of Mark’s albums I don’t have on vinyl, I was hoping there might be a 20th anniversary reissue of All the Roadrunning in 2026, perhaps for Record Store Day as it is normally in April, and that is the month in which the album was originally released, so it would make sense.
