Today, 15th August 2025, Brendan would have turned 72 years old.
To that occasion WWW.BRENDANCROKER.COM releases some PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED footage
from the legendary 18th June 1989 gig at the Polytechnic Leeds.
Brendan Croker & The 5 O'Clock Shadows, featuring Mark Knopfler and Alan Clark.
This is a compilation of scenes from the song Georgia Crawl.
(maybe not the best video quality, but this is what we have)

Line up:
Brendan Croker
Mark Knopfler
Marcus Cliffe
Mark Creswell
Preston Heyman
Alan Clark

Many thanks.   It was short, but sweet.   I enjoyed MK's guitar very much and wish it had been much longer with a close-up.

Was it forbidden to film Mark? Sensational how whoever filmed this managed to miss everything that COULD have been interesting. Cymbal anyone?

I don't want no sugar in it, thank you very much!

Nice to see. Interesting also to see Mark and Alan, rather than Guy on this. Predates NHBs

This is one of the coolest songs from Brendan in terms of groove. That concert should be digged and released as it covers the best years of Brendan with a super band with MK and Alan, plus the legendary Marcus Cliffe.

Thank you for the upload. Brendan would always be in my heart even without his MK connection, for this song alone: https://youtu.be/aCEY0EtEKnM?si=I3Hqm87yEauzNEiD
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

And for me, this song. It's a shame it's not on the album Missing...

It's in one of the Brendan solo records:

https://www.discogs.com/release/2174719-Brendan-Croker-The-5-OClock-Shadows-A-Close-Shave

Many of the NHB live songs came from Brendan solo records, also some from Steve, and of course, DS and MK.

Yes, but on the album Missing... we would have had a beautiful MK guitar solo :)
