I've been sniffing around the site and other artists pages, and they usually put the shows available also in Audio CD format (obviously at a higher price). I hope they do the same with MK.

From what I could see they were in fact MP3s stored on a CD but happy to be proved wrong.

Why is not possible to buy MK first show at the RAH? you can look at it in the section "latest recordings", you click in "add to cart" but nothing happens  :(
You might get lucky, now and then

PC said 48hrs later.
which is tomorrow.
also, cd does not mention being empetree.
also, i recorded bournemouth and both first RAH shows, also plan to do the next few, so for the moaning ones, there will be audience recordings.
show tonight was awesome.
saw no usb sticks...zet.
but got to meet Kate Walsh, pretty lady, nice voice, bit repetitive though.
also found Glenn's secret hideaway, where he plays the big lady every night, it really was a small (closed) room, and i wasnn't sure if it was really him, but then a crew member came and opened up and then i saw Glenn, playing. so i said hi and thanked him for the show, then i was off.
met michael mcGoldrick last night in a news agent shop at night (kensington High street and asked him to sing as well, friendly guy.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Well, this is some f*cking good news! ;D ;D ;D

Could not have put it better myself, LH  ;D

I see that the on the live dates tab there is a past live dates box which lists the UK and Ireland shows to date and the 2008 tour shows in Germany. Can we dare dream that this might mean these shows will also be available eventually?

Unfortunately the North America dates are not listed, some kind of licensing issue maybe. I seem to recall with Passalong it took quite some time for the downloads to be available everywhere due to licensing agreements in various territories.

Well, this is some f*cking good news! ;D ;D ;D

indeed!  ;D

Much better than a re-worked live CD. Here you will be able to purchase just YOUR show,as it happened. And as for the issue of MP3 format, that will be good enough to listen on my ipod on my way to work.....

D-11 for me!!

I am just hoping that the shows I have just attended will also be available soon.  After all, we are told that every concert is recorded.  I am keeping my fingers crossed!    :)

Great news

To be able to choose lossless or even (24/96) would have been better but mp3@320 is quite decent

But most important are they DRM free?

And it is worth the waiting for them  ;D

Great news, will try to download tonight. I think I'll also try the USB "collector" one to see how it looks.

Could it be the end of audience recording (well at least for the officially recording ones) ?
And the end of all these audience noises like talky people, bad venue's sound, bass that sounds far, and after having recorded myself some 2008 shows, the end of being inattentive sometimes during the show because of checking levels, checking if all is going well with the recording stuff, etc.  :lol

WOW WOW WOW

It is complete with talking and everything! It sounds great. XXXXX gave me the same shivers as I got on Sunday evening. I am very grateful for this offer.
Wonder if Guy was involved in this... Will be hard to stay away from all the great other shows...

LE

His Post-XXXXX-talking is VERY long...

Audience recording and sbd are a different experience.

First of all on the sbd you hear the engineer choice that is definitively different of what you can hear in the hall. I want to tell for example that Richard sounds very nice but his part are too often very low mixed.

Second some audience recording can sometime turns very good and if not  as good as a sbd feed not that far and give real listening pleasure.

Of course myself I do prefer the sbd source most of the time but not always...
