The intro was a little slow but the outry was pretty cool.

But, ladies and gents: MARBLETOWN. Absolutely stunning. Great intro, great outro. Full of energy, sounding chaotic and controlled at the same time. They really shine on this one.

I think the show is great.  I big step up from the last tour if this one is representitive and the best thing being the nice clean powerful tone of Mark's guitars.  Very surprisingly What It Is was one of the best versions, due to this powerful sounding guitar and it seemed more uptempo too.  In fact the show as a whole has a more uptempo, powerful feel about it.  Sultans is much shorter, maybe just because it's the start of the tour, but it had some punch which it lacked on the previous tour.  Now we just need more so we can make a true reflection on how the tour is going.  I must say a big well done to the taper for one of the best sounding recordings ever - it really is excellent.

Don't worry LE, burn it and play it on a proper CD-player instead of your PC. Sure it's a live-recording. Little lower than real I think and sure a little flat, but that's inherent to live-recordings made this way.

I love it, but I listen more to fanmade live-recordings, so I am used to the not optimal quality. This one is not bad at all.

Yes, I think you are very right, Ingrid. I have listened to a lot of bootlegs and audience recordings (even of my own gigs), and you have to ad some bass, punch, warmth and dynamics by your imagination, because these kind of recordings always lack of such. They don't do the performance fully justice. But they're always better on a big sound system. I remember I once had a Sony Walkman with some headphones that worked particularly well with bootlegs, but not that well with studio recordings :).

Hahaha.. This is so great.. The last chord on "Marbletown" reminds me of the last chord on "Ride Across The River" from the BIA tour...  :lol :lol :lol :lol

Someone actually yelled out "play Down to the Waterline!" right before Coyote.  :lol

Anyway, the band sounds fantastic so far!...except for Donegan's Gone. He's gone. Came and left a long time ago.  :disbelief

Am listening to it now. Just got home from working night shift, but won't go to bed before I heard the whole concert  ;D

First impression is very good. Mark sounds good (actually he's starting to sound better and better along the way during the concert). Great fresh guitar sound and slightly more uptempo than last tour. So far I'm really impressed and getting more and more excited about seeing him perform in June. Maybe I will even get me a ticket for a 3rd concert  ;D

Only disapointment is the fact that he already seems to have dropped 'Cleaning My Gun' , which happens to be my favorite song on the Get Lucky album. But perhaps it will show up again later  ::)
