I have noticed on a few of the recordings that he praises the venues he is playing at saying things like 'what a beautiful theatre' etc.

Can't wait to hear what he says about the arena tonight! Something along the lines of 'what a ****ing diabolical place to host a music performance' methinks  ;)

Why aye! It's been played a lot but it's a strong one and you can't complain about a beginning consisting of Border Reiver, WII and Why Aye. Nice going.

Would be great to have Jimmy Nail and Tim Healy as guests.  Any luck? ;D

    • My book about Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler
According to a sms I received right now from a friend who is in georgieland, they played Why aye man instead What it is, and Wild theme (Local hero) again...

Aparently the t-shirts with the tour dates has Valencia (50 km from where I live) instead Murcia (more than 200 km from where I live), bad that the t-shirt is wrong  >:(
You might get lucky, now and then

No What it is:-(

Wonder where it went - my fav MK solo song.

Other than that it was the best ever MK concert I have seen.

The band were so tight, in unison and enjoyed every minute of it as did the audience.

And he plays better sat down than standing up. Vocals were tip top - its like he didn't ant to let the home crowd down.

Nice one Mark.

Had to produce credit card for tickets though.

Only 2 songs from Get Lucky - odd considering its the GL tour!
