signs of life on momentary lapse as well as sorrow on that same album are my favorites.
a very, very underestimated album is the soundtrack Obscured by clouds, it is brilliant from start to finish. go check it out and let me know your thoughts.
I like sorrow live, e.g. on Delcate, but I don't like the overall sound on Momentary lapse

I agree about obscured by clouds. very gilmourish and wrightish sounding album ! But the production is a little bit a level under their classic albums

More (cymbaline, more blues, dramatic theme, green is the colour....) and atom heart mother (whole album) are also ones of my favs, just after the "golden "era (71-79)

I would also recommend relics with pure gems like Julia dream and biding my time

ummagumma and saucerful are maybe less good as whole albums, but have also some nice tunes (narrow way, grantchester meadow, corporal clegg, celestial voices....)

and I also like piper...another floyd style, but great anyway, very sgt pepperish !

I reckon the waiting for the new Guy's diary entry is killing me (softly  ;D) but the thing that David Gilmour is recording and not knowing anything about it is killing me even more, I was idiot enough to miss David Gilmour on his last tour and when read Graham Nash telling he and Crosby were travelling to Brighton to record with him, I started to feel nervous...

Is there any realible site, blog, diary etc that inform about this recording

while I was going nuts when hearing about the Dylan Knopfler cooperation two years ago, I never really got interested in Mr Gilmour. Never liked him to be honest. Therefore I hope the new collaboration will NOT mean Mr. Gilmour is around for more than let's say, one or two songs. Now will leave this thread silently again and won't disturb you anymore, guys!  ;D  :wave

and imagine Mark ever doing this:
bootlegging the bootleggers (on the pulse dvd)

where, via a sources well known in the "good" collecters circles, they gottheir hands on bootleg video recordings and put them on the official dvd
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
