Looks right.  There's a lay-by for the car to pull in and get out to take the photo.  Also, the telegraph pole is in the correct position at the far side of the field.

Do you think Mark just walked out there or was he photoshopped in later?

I'd say he went by...

Someone of Spanish City has posted this google maps location, and thinks it's the same place where the Tracker cover picture was taken...

What do you think?

It looks quite similar... and it's in the south, not far from where John Illsley has the pub in the New Forest...

Amazing that somebody actually tried to find this! It's not Abbey Road type of thing for sure though.

Looks similar, but the original photo (before the cover was photoshopped) there's tree shadows on it, so it was probably taken down the road.

Just taken at a different time of day, hence the shadows.
