It's a statement. How long has that chapter been discussed in Guy's forum. The question what MK thinks of all the cover bands has been brought up so often. So many discussions. So much bad blood. You never heard him say anything about it. Now he has done what he does best - he has written a song about it.

Ok just heard the bonus tracks.

Terminal of Tribute to....  this imho is the best song released and didn't even make the album. Way better than at least 5 of the tracks on the album proper.

I agree with you dmg but there's got to be a good reason for this song!!!! You don't start to go public like he does if the other part has not done something terribly wrong before or what do you think???

I suppose there is good reasons for this song, whatever it is about. I really like it!

I think everyone knows I have been in the "no" camp as far as The Straits are concerned but for me this is obvious that with Mark you don't get seconds chances.  If you offend him, that's it!  Doesn't even matter if you're his brother.  He doesn't appear to offer forgiveness or reconcileation if you offend him, although I perhaps shouldn't judge too much.  I am looking as an outsider after all.

Must be a statement indeed and it's a direct one!!! Well it doesn't really matter as I never followed the battle between Dire Straits members and MK  when he rightly decided to start making solo albums!!! But God it must have been very hard times for him if he had to get it out of his chest now in 2015!!!
