Somehow it reminds me of that angry lead-out of "It Never Rains".
And she's sitting in her Lusso, in the early morning sun.

This song is great ! better than anything on the main album !
I am getting really tired of this 20th-century outdated thing called "extra tracks" if you buy this super-rare expensive box that can only be found in Zimbaboue.... TIRED. Give me whatever price tag you want and include every song there is to get in the package and that's it !

You should have bought the Liechtenstein edition. It contains all bonus songs and a b/w picture of a danish duck. Err, ok, that was lame.

Musically, this one is VERY close to Junkie Doll. Almost like 'Junkie Doll: Part 2'.

Never a bad thing.  JD was always one of my favourites, especially live.

what ? not really

Yep. Some parts are nearly identical, although key is different.

EPIC 'Terminal Of Tribute To' chords are now added in my Tracker Songbook: http://amarkintime.org/forum/index.php?topic=4152.msg90543#msg90543

Well chord progression on line 'You’ve been faking it so long' can be found in Junkie Doll to be precise.

Don't want to argue with that, it's just same chord progression in one part, never meant to say those songs are similar.

I don't understand the title grammatically. About the "to" followed by nothing. . Please explain someone, for a simple mind...

A really awesome song, like it more than I can describe it in english!!! Pity that it's not on the CD I ordered, I guess I'll have to buy it separately!!! Bravo Maestro Knopfler!!! :clap
But it's written in the starlight and every line on your palm, we're fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

I would have thought it would have been listed as "Terminal of Tribute To..."  Obviously I must be wrong.  I can only assume that he meant Dire Straits would follow the word "To" if the song is written about The Straits, that is and that this is the name of the band he uses in the song instead.

You never made it and you never will
In the terminal of tribute to

Meaning the band members will never make it in this band called "Terminal of Tribute To."
