Love this song, the vibe reminded me a bit of When It Comes To You...

Getting back into Van Morrison/Eric Clapton territory, but isn't Ryan Adams a bit of a scumbag?!

Absolutely!

Great roots music from a young singer/songwriter who still knows how country/folk/americana (no matter how you call it) should sound like. Amazing!
Not like all of this crap most country music stations are playing all day long.
I`ve discovered Tyler Childers about a year ago and since then he is a regular on my jukebox.

This is all the heaven we've got, right here where we are in our Shangri-La.

He is a total mess as a person, but artistically is a genius, which is what I like from him.

I'm fan of his music more or less since 2005, and I know from that moment he was an ass, that he was on alcohol and drugs, he's been on rehab multiple times and looks like he's sober from long ago, but he never stopped being an ass, only that the #metoo and #cancelationculture were not trendy yet...

Artistically he was a genius, and it's still very good, his last record is very good in my opinion.

John Hiatt : The Eclipse Sessions last album in 2018
A connexion with MK with two guitarists who played with him inside left : Sonny Landreth and Mike Henderson on the albums like "Slow turning" or "Stolen Moments".

New album from the great Cory Branan, listening closely to the lyrics on this one it reminded me of a MK solo era type song:

Trying to revive this, with some new suggestions.
https://youtu.be/WlsPOWvbOg8?si=Oo8-q4ItkaYWf7B9

Great chameleon of music this Dope Lemon. Every song of his seems to be from another genre, and reminiscent of so many past artists.
This one has a J J Cale vibe:

And a lovely song and video by multi talented artist Jeffrey Lewis, about the LP obsession:

Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Australia has an artist who I consider a true one-of-a-kind, CW Stoneking. He was born in Central Australia to American parents.
This video for Jungle Blues gives a taste. The actual album I'd say is a bit of a grower, when I first heard it I thought it was a joke, but no the man is serious about his blues. We've seen him live 3 times. I would recommend his last album Gon' Boogaloo as an intro. All songs were recorded through just one ribbon mic with the artists placing themselves strategically around the studio!

Anyways...

Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

Hello good buddy! Long time!
I second your suggestion.

I learnt about him from Fletch and he is the real thing.
He has visited Greece twice, saw him once (with a band, the second one was solo)  and I was blown away. His records are also great! Three of them had a European release on vinyl. All worth it, but the two latest ones could have been hits, both underground, overground and certainly not only downunder.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
