Jackal, you can feed on hamburgers or you can feed on duck liver pate. (or whatever)   ;D No insult taken! I get your point. But these artists and acts are just the ones that surfaced from the underground scene that has been influencing and giving new ways of expression to ALL music. Like rap and electronic music (I would say blues and jazz but I am afraid I will be summoning the wrath of many readers! ;) ), have done 30-40 years ago. You don't actually have to like it. You just have to accept its existence and potential value. I have discovered so many things that owe to this music, from aesthetics to structures that even if I just listen to them rarely compared to  my favourite artists, I respect them and try to keep an ear to that direction.   I think that you should also try them, or at least give a try to Greek folk music, and of the balkans in general. . It is so rich of ideas and ways to express, that I still wonder why big acts haven't discover it, yet. (Zeppelin tried to do a similar thing with no quarter, but with eastern influences, and the movie broken flowers brought into our attention the Ethiopean take of jazz-rock and P. Simon and and and )

Pottel, I agree with you! Bring new suggestions on!

Rollergirl, originally I had the curiosity to watch it just for the aesthetics of the video. You don't have to like the music, ( which brings to my mind a similar discussion not so long ago   ;)  - but no, no comparison whatsoever) just take some good ideas from it!
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Oh, but pain is just another door to the next level of existence! Pain  stops but experience remains!  SyodaM  :o  (nice little face this one, rarely used!)

By the way, no mention or tears for the great Whitney Houston?  :disbelief

Last week I hurt my back quite badly, walked like a hundred year old for 3 days. The pain has almost gone now but I remember it and I don't feel like I am moving into the next level  ;D

However, this is true of childbirth....

Anyway, I don't want to listen to this when I can listen to somethings I like.

You have my sympathy. I know that back pain is very bad because it restricts you, in addition to the actual pain and thought of the probable damage. But I also know some 100 year old people that go running! But you have moved to the next level, you will be more careful the next time! ;)

As for childbirth, I get the meaning, but in some cases the pain just gets bigger. ;D  (I adore my kids, but if you have seen "Married with children...)

Here in Greece it is either listening to this or our politicians. I prefer this.  :P

Thank you for your sympathy. So you mean I have moved to the next level, a level where you don't run down frozen kids' slides?  ;D (yes, that's what I did, at my age....). Time will tell  ;)

True but it's a different kind of pain once the child is born. (next level kind of pain I guess  ;D)

I agree with you, it's better to listen to music, even music one doesn't like, than listening to politicians, especially greek ones (although I wouldn't understand what they're saying, may sound like music to me)

Sorry for insulting your musical tastes, guys, but rolling in a pig pen seems more attractive than listening and watching those artists.
