In my opinion, Guy is not brave enough. He was always Mark's minion and does not fill the role of a CREATIVE producer.

Oh, let's thank God (or whatever higher power) that he never took on that role! That would be a disaster. Mark's sound has suffered enough from Guy's ideas over the years, let's not even mention the possibility of extending his "creativity". And yes, they should hire a proper producer, someone with taste and an understanding of what makes MK special.

Neil Dorfsman
Jimmy Iovine
Muff Winwood

I think MK would benefit from being challenged by an external producer

...As a passionate "Fletcherette" I agree, even if I don't always understand him.  Past master in relationship building?
It could be an unfortunate choice of words on my part. My English is far from perfect.
Thanks anyway   :wave

Seriously, something must be changed at BG this time around? Who is so reluctant to say ANYTHING to us fans? Not a single picture who can say something (yes I know about the ones on Insta). I really don't think it is Guy, and not Mark either, and even not Crockford (but far from sure...). I am thinking maybe a guest artist?

Guest is a pretty plausible reason for a dead silence indeed. I "want" Van Morrison!

How about Rick Ruben?
He brought Johnny Cash back to the helm!
