This mystery has an easy solution... Someone goes to British Grove and see who comes in and out these days...

That's exactly what I find most astonishing about this/these project(s):
That for the last six months no AMIT get a lifer who lives in/close to London has spent some time on a Saturday morning or on a weekday evening looking what kind of musicians are coming or going.
It would help to get an idea if eg a lot of classical instruments are being brought in (soundtrack, musical) or who the well known guest musicians are.

Nah... If Mark himself has decided to play this game, I'm going to accept the challenge and release date is the only thing I'm interested in.
Please, if somebody would get any real news, put it under a huge spoiler alert banner, preferably with the release date only. Who's in?

Richard changed his pic on Facebook today.
Is this taken in British Grove? I don't think it is, so this is no news?  ;D

My opnion is that many information from studio diary, Guy forum, tour diary have take away many mystery about MK. In a way I like to know many things, but I think I preffer that my artist heros are a little bit secret and have cloud of mystery.

I'm still going to go for an acoustic album, add in special guests now.  The guests will be lower key, possibly those he has worked with on other solo albums already.  Usually we have pictures of guitars by now but this would give the game away.

That picture was taken in Austin, Texas, when Richard was producing Steve Earle new record, in december 2016.

Info taken from his facebook account, just next to the photo  ;)

Guy also published in instagram a picture of the MK Les Paul, which Knopfler himself said that used for the recordings...

So, apparently not an acoustic record  ;D

So I can rule that out then!

Good point, I totally understand what you mean. However, curiousity is a thing that kills you when you are a fan, sucking for information, aren't you? I guess Guy already has stopped from offering a diary for exactly the reason you mentioned.
