This is the dream come true for all of us!

LE mentioned this is something from Tommy's next album, so apparently nothing was revealed concerning MK's "new project".

OH MY F*****G GOD

Did Tommy just tell something he shouldn't tell? I hope he will be okay after this!

Dream come true, yeah!

It seems Tommy is recording a duets album, so it's probably for that, and not MK's project...
Still, so good that these two master guitarists got together! Chet is probably smiling somewhere...

MK & TE taking over the world? :-)

Anyway, folks what do you think? MK doing a Chet Atkins tribute album, with many famous guitarplayers that also collaborated with Chet? Being the MEGA secret project. Like Clapton did with JJ Cale tribute.

Or could it be a "Collaborations" album MK is working on. Specially for the fans. After a conversation with Guy about how the fans come up all the time, on his forum, with questions about did MK play with him or her.. etc. Lets produce a collaborations album and name it "Collaborations".  ;D

So far, Guy has ignored the question about "The Princess Bride" stage musical on his forum, so could this actually be the secret project?    If so, I wonder who will be performing.    :think

Hi Jbaent,

We can share the prize for "best investigational jounalism relating to MK" if our prediction comes true, which given Guy's lack of response makes me think we could be on to something....

Maybe someone else could ask the same question and see if it pushes a response from Guy!!

I loathe musicals.  Slackly written stories where average but catchy songs hinder the plot.  No thank you.

I totally agree with you. When other projects appears, like a music core, well, I enjoy them, but what I really expect is for his next studio album...

I hope that the enigmatic "lots of recording" that Guy said, I think that it was last december, means that he's not only working on whatever is the different and exciting new project but also a regular MK record. The music for a theatrical adaptation of The Princess Bride would be nice but I don´t foresee a tour of that  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Totally agree!   I particularly dislike musicals, so I would feel rather underwhelmed if it is true.    I'm just hoping that there is another  album being recorded alongside this possible musical.

I'd be fascinated to see MK apply his talent to this kind of project. I'm not sure how much ground he has left to cover as songwriter and I mean that as a compliment of the highest form.

Be good to shake things up if only to freshen his musical pallet up.
