GF:

"John and Mike have been in the studio as well as Nigel and Tom with their horns"

 :wave

Don't forget they were also recording the secret project.
You might get lucky, now and then

Yes, but the question was about the new album. There was no secret  project in the question

Maybe the so called secret project is actually Mark Knopfler revisits Dire Straits: Mark records new versions of his own hits replacing all the guitar solos with flutes, horns and accordions. Just imagine, Nigel playing all the solos and licks of Sultans of Swing and Mike nailing Brothers in Arms. That would be dope. Or maybe not...

Yes, but the question was about the new album. There was no secret  project in the question

The question was if any of the folkies went to BG. And the answer said they were. Not any mention to if it was now or one year ago and for what project

If you're happy believing that...

The folkies recorded for the secret project FOR SURE.

And I'll bet that the rest of the band too

Our friends from South America only had a chance to see MK once in their life, in 2001... They need another one!

Thanks for your support, amigo:)

Some info we already know but I wondered: from JM site a few months ago
---
After 10 years of touring the world in each others bands, writing songs together & recording on solo albums, Myself & Heidi Talbot have decided to make a duo Ep! To celebrate a decade of music making together, we are recording a 5 track EP and embarking on an extensive UK and European tour in 2018. We’re really excited about recording & the tour next year
---

They are talking about an extensive UK and European tour. For now they have a lot off dates until the end of july but only Ireland and the UK. http://www.heiditalbot.com/tour.php
So the rest of Europe after the summer what probably means  :think :think :think :think :think :think

Neil Diamond announced his retirement from touring and his March tour dates for Australia and New Zealand are cancelled. Sad news, but it's mean that Richard Bennett is free from his obligation to Neil.
