His addition to Dire Straits music was absolutely essential and important and without question phantastic and a big part of what made Dire Straits what they were, so, yes.

I wonder if we will get an album with a full set, or there will be a bonus disc with additional songs  :think

I am convinced that he has so much stuff and material that we will get the full monty. Remember that Tracker was nearly as much music as Privateering which was offered as a double album. An album with 10 to 12 songs and nothing more would be surprising. And there are Deluxe Box releases always which contain bonus songs for sure. So the pure number of songs will probably be immense. I go for another double or a triple album to be honest.  :wave

I think I will splash out on the box set this time, just in case it's his last!    I hope not, of course!    :)

If it's a good one. The Tracker box is not able to stand stable on it's own as the Get Lucky or Privateering box which makes me sick. There are so many possibilities to fill them with great content, just watch several Queen boxes..
Tracker Deluxe Box was by far the one made most uncompassionate. But CULLERCOATS LIMITED DELUXE BOX SET or PLAYTIME DELUXE SQUARED SET would be something.  ;D

Alan is the best rock’n roll keyboardist Mark’s ever had in my opinion.

Jim Cox, Matt Rollins, Alan Clark --- all world class musicians. Hard to say which one's best, really.

Never heard Matt or Alan play anything approaching the level of Jim.  Of course he's no rock 'n' roll guy!

Alan Clark was very good at the first stage. But the new keyboard players were great too. MK's music has changed and new musicians have fulfilled their role in a sufficient way

Indeed all stellar musicians but I personally like Alan better when it comes to rockier tunes.
