Waiting becomes unbearable  :-X
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

Maybe I'm the only one but I really liked Geraint.

He played a great cajun accordion and got so into his soloing that he almost fell off his stage riser in either Copenhagen or Stockholm. Can't recall precisely.

Have there been better musicians? Yes. But you can't beat such stage presence. Jim Cox o.t.o.h. has the aura of a biology teacher. :)

I agree.  He had a good stage presence.  I thought he was quite amusing with his accordion in tow and his work on things like Junkie Doll was pretty impressive.

Biology teacher.   :lol :lol

In Spanish City we used to called him Fester Addams  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good pointed, Geraint is a show man.

Just that Dire Straits and later MK & Band were not a showman act.

We are not there for entertainment but for spiritual experience.

I was bummed when MK's doctor overruled him and said there was no place for disco dancing throughout the tour.

I really miss Jack Sonni for this dancing and stage antics.  Also his red jacket and ski goggles at Live Aid are the stuff of legend.

Is it true that Hal was fired because he shook his ass too much? Cos if that was the case hiring Jack wasn’t really clever.

Officially, he left because he wanted to concentrate on compose film scores.

Unofficially, it is said MK had zero tolerance with alcohol and drugs abuse. It's said that some of the members that were "not called again" or "substituted" had to do with that.

I saw it but since we spent so long talking about it here, I thought it was fair to say it here as well.

Guy today:

At the moment, yes, just me and Mark although we do have a band session next week.

 ;D

A band session that happened in autumn 2016...

And another band session

From Guy this morning:

YES. I can give you some news. This week we are conducting a full band session at BG. I CANNOT...repeat CANNOT say what this project is so please do not repeatedly ask me. I'm afraid you will have to be more patient than usual with this one as it involves a slightly longer-term work period. It will be well worth the wait, of that I can assure you. More to follow as and when I can.
