If this is it, then it is kind of disappointing. I would much prefer a big box of live video/audio releases.

Funny to read how they talk about the movie. Local Hero is at best a nice little film, much more famous for its MK music than for its plot, and it seems they assume that this so-called "80s classic" is on par with, say, Back to the future :)

This could win an award for the most obvious "secret project" ever then. But anyway, the music is more famous than the movie itself, so I'll wait!

Isn't this what we all suspected it would be?   I just wonder how it will transfer to the stage, especially as the scenery was a big part of the film.   I'm looking forward, especially, to hearing the music.    ;)

Premier in Edinburgh!

Remember how I said I wouldn't go to a musical?  Well since it's just along the road...  I take it I'll see you all there?

The Lyceum's a beautiful theatre - I was there during the festival last year. There's a very nice Italian restaurant next door and a great pub called Shakespeare's nearby too.

That strange feeling when you've known what's in the Christmas gift way before you open it...

But who was the hero who found out about the song titles in the first place?

If they release the score it'll probably be the first score to outsell the musical.  ;D

GF:

We are all extremely excited about the project which will premiere at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh in Spring 2019 followed by a run at the Old Vic in London. Mark has written a wealth of wonderful new material which I have been involved in producing. The whole team is immensely excited.
