I fully understand that some of these new ones can get people exited and actually buy them, for example the coloured LP´s or something. They look nice. Musically its the same songs we already have I guess. Nothing new right. Personally I stopped buying bootlegs when I joined the MK forum many, many years ago, and other options became clear to me :-)
So somebody out there is making good money of already known material, they just have a pro presser for CD´s or VINYL, print the covers and sell them.
They probably sell MK/DS and many other artists as well. Plain stupid and illegal. But they fill a market because the MK/DS management is too lazy to actually fill the market with legal, new exiting products. What a shame....

Pretty much how I feel about them these days.  Years ago I'd buy them at record fayres and a certain independent record shop I know and I'd get new shows I hadn't heard before, but now they're just recycling stuff and it's a con.

Recycling stuff... Of course as long new recordings doesn't show up, at least Golden Eggs is releasing stuff that didn't existed on silver pressed bootlegs.

Other labels are just re releasing stuff that exists with various titles and covers, usually that didn't match the concert!

Today the RAH bootleg arrived and is spectacular...

Not only that, but also today, the "angel of mercy" label (the one that released that two colored vinyls boots) has released the Zaragoza concert in a double cd, silver press bootleg.

Ohh, I would love to hear that. I always thought Mark looked cool in that jean jacket too.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

If you consider how noisy and impossible to listen were most of the 92 Spanish audience recordings, this one is like a soundboard!

When I got it in 1992, I was amazed because it was very listenable. I was too used to listen recordings like the Madrid, Gijon or the other recordings where you hear more the audience singing and screaming the songs, than the songs themselves... Zaragoza in comparation is very good, you can listen to the songs very clearly without the crazyness of the audience.

Haven't listened to these shows for a long time and for that reason.  Back in the day I would listen to them quite often and not complain too much.  :lol

I'd like to have Sydney 86 on lp but with such an incorrect cover I'm gonna ignore it.

That Zaragoza-Show is also on my wantlist. Looks interesting that Digipack-edition. :thumbsup

By the way, i prefer the "Brothers in Sydney" 2-CD-Set with the last show, because it is complete with Molly Meldrums Intro-Speech, the Press-conference with Molly, Mark and Ed, with Waltzing Mathilda the speech and the outro of the show. Red-Devil-Records RD-058-1-2. :)

Some other 2-CD-Sets are edited, like Thank you Australia and New Zealand by Pluto-Records. That was my first Bootleg-Set with that concert

Yes, the Live in Sydney LP-version was produced in a "lazy way". I actually mean the Cult-Legends LP-Album. That concert offers such great versions of songs and the feeling between the band and the fans is amazing. They should produce a 2- or a 3-LP-Set with that show, incl. So Far Away-Calypso-Version, the great Industrial Disease-Version and the Guitar-Duel with Mark and Jack on two young lovers and the stunning guitar-intro of that song. Those highlights are worth to be conserved on great vinyl. That´s my opinion.
