I was thinking it would be fun to do something similar to the Dylan Pool. Since Mark doesn't change the setlists so much. It could rahter be that we guess before the toru starts. The setlist for the first concert and maybe for instance the setlist of the last european date.

1 point for correct guess. 2 points for correct song and placement in the setlist.

Any good suggestions for making this in a fun and simple way?

So after some quick thoughts I came up with one setlist that should get a few songs in the right order.

My guess for the setlist:

1. Trapper man
2. Corned beef city
3. Privateering
4. Back on the dance floor.
5. Father and son / HFB
6. Slow Learner
7. One Song At A Time
8. Romeo and Juliet
9. Sultans of swing
10. Band Intro
11. Postcards From Paraguay
12. Speedway At Nazareth
13. Marbletown
14. So far away
15. Matchstick Man
16. Piper To The End

Play these and I'll be very happy  :D

  • Trapper Man
  • Back on the Dancefloor
  • Coyote
  • Behind With The Rent
  • Seattle
  • She's gone / Your Latest Trick
  • Romeo & Juliet
  • Sultans
  • Quality Shoe
  • The Last Laugh
  • Nobody Does That
  • One Song At A time
  • On Every Street
  • Speedway
  • Heavy Up
  • Metroland
  • So Far Away
  • Going Home

Definitely not my wishlist but I think he's gonna rely heavily on the brass section this tour.

Probably more new ones in the earlier shows before settling down to something along these lines, although I'm hoping for something a little more adventurous.  It'll be interesting to see how the brass is incorporated or if it has an influence on the setlist.

      Back On the Dance Floor

      Corned Beef City

      Privateering

      Father and Son

      Hill Farmer's Blues

      Good On You Son
      One Song At A Time

      Romeo and Juliet

      Haul Away

      Your Latest Trick

      Postcards from Paraguay
      Marbletown

      Speedway at Nazareth

      Encores:

      So Far Away

Going Home (nice ad for the musical)

1. Trapper Man (I have a feeling this will be the opener)
2. (not sure, I don't think he'll do Corned Beef City again...maybe a return of Walk of Life even though Mark hates it?)
3. Privateering (and the usual "Everybody OK? You and me Rich, the rest of you...good luck!")
4. Sailing To Phialdelphia
5. Hill Farmer's Blues (a classic)
6. Back On The Dance Floor (Guy pretty much confirmed it, I believe)
7. She's Gone/Your Latest Trick (Mark confirmed it)
8. Romeo and Juliet
9. Sultans Of Swing (I'm not sure about this one)
10. Drover's Road
11. One Song at a Time
12. On Every Street (I think he'll keep it)
13. Heavy Up/Telegraph Road (This is a big mystery for me)
14. Brothers In Arms
15. Are We In Trouble Now (Please Mark, make this happen)
16. Matchstick Man (perfect encore)

To be honest that's as near as I was going to put..the only difference is that I'm convinced BOTDF will be the opener and for some reason I can't see trapped man being played Live - I'd love to be wrong of course...wondering if OSAAT might be towards the end maybe even an encore??

A shame if so.. The only song on the album I struggle to really like... Could skip that one from the setlist, I would love Trapper Man as opener, BOTDF as opener would disappoint a lot..

Fine, throw it in somewhere in the middle of the setlist, but not as starter... Yea, it's the song I dislike the most on DTRW...

Trapper Man would be a good opener, but BOTD would be even better, especially as it's one of my favourites from the album - love it!   :)

6. Nobody Does That
7. Romeo and Juliet
